Costs and other details

If you have never trained in Aikido before, you will need first to watch a class. At this time you can talk to us and ask any questions you may have.

Beginners will also need to take out an interim Aikikai membership (current adult fee - $50.00) to cover you for your first three months of training. Your first class does not incur any mat fee.

Normal adult annual aikikai student fees are currently $200 (for a new membership). Everyone on our tatami (mat) training must be a member of Aikikai Australia.

Normal training fees are $6 per class. We cap these fees at $42 per month, so you can train up to 4 times per week for just $42.

Of course, you will also need a keiko gi (training uniform) and these are available through us or from any martial arts shop.
