This year we are again pleased to welcome Suzuki Shihan, from Tokyo Hombu Dojo, to join us at our Sydney harbourside venue. Suzuki Shihan visited our national Winter School last year and has previously visited Australia with Doshu. For older members of the association Suzuki Shihan's classes were very reminiscent of what we saw in a young Sugano Shihan when he first arrived in Australia, full of enthusiasm and great flexibility!
Non AKA members are welcome to join the training on Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday when Suzuki Shihan will be teaching.
Smibert, Botterill and Janiv Shihans will lead a special training focus on basic and advanced techniques from the teaching syllabus. There will also be a special Shidosha Class, aimed at those who are teaching Aikido. These classes will be supported by TTC members and other senior teachers. The Instructor’s Course is open to everyone 1st kyu and above who is or wishes to be an instructor.
