New State Area Representative for WA!

We are very pleased to announce that Janice Marsh as the new Area Representative for WA!  Janice originally started training as a child in Singapore and then took a break but in 2004 she re-started training again in the US and subsequently continued her training in WA upon relocating to Perth in 2010. Janice recently achieved the rank of Sandan in July 2023, a testament to her hard work and dedication.

Janice is replacing Hugh Derham Shihan as the new Area Representative. We express our gratitude to Hugh for his many decades of dedicated service to Aikido WA. We thank him for founding and growing the organization since Sugano Sensei assigned him to the task so long ago.

Janice is a perfect fit for this role, and we are excited to have her on board. Her dedication, hard work, and exceptional organizational skills make her the ideal candidate. With her unwavering integrity and quiet courage, we have no doubt that she will excel in this position. We encourage everyone to support Janice in any way possible, as together we can make this a huge success!
